Do you ever feel like you’re not quite enough as a mom? The house is never clean enough, the food is never healthy enough (yes, even health coaches have this worry). Homework is horrid and takes long hours of begging, pleading, and threatening. I always wonder if my kids are getting the time they need with me, and if I’m communicating with them the right way.
There is so much conflicting information online about what we need to be doing for our kids. How do we know how to have more peace in our homes? How to help our kids grow up into good, kind, responsible, and capable adults? How do we make sure our spouse gets the time he needs, and do all of this without feeling like we are completely drowning?
I was lucky enough to stumble across this free online conference the first year it started, and I will forever be grateful. Everyone has heard the analogy between the airplane safety rules (in cases of a loss of cabin pressure, put your own mask on first before assisting others) and how we as mothers need to make sure we are taking care of ourselves so that we can better be there for our little ones. Attending to this conference each year is a big part of how I put my own oxygen mask on first!
During this conference, high quality speakers teach us how to connect with our kids, help them to listen in a positive way, how to take care of ourselves and our marriages, basically all those things that we all want to do better! And of course the best part is that it’s completely free!
I love to listen to the speakers as I exercise in the morning, while folding laundry, in the kitchen while I am making dinner, anytime!
I like to binge during the conference days (Oct. 17-19 this year), but I also purchase the package so I can listen to the talks all year long. It is so helpful to go back during those frustrating times and find new ideas, and reassurance that I really am doing a good job!
So, do you need a boost as a mom?
I think we all do! Go register for this conference right now, mark your calendar, and really take the time to soak this in. I know you’ll love it as much as I do!
