It’s time for our next free monthly challenge!¬†Each month I’m challenging you to form a new healthy habit, something that will stick with you and help you have long lasting results. So far we’ve fallen in love with green smoothies and become meal planning ninjas. I’m so proud of the ladies in my challenges, and I can’t wait to get to know more of you as we get started on the next one!

This month I’m challenging you to take a more mindful approach to eating.

How many of us are eating without thinking? How often do we resort to a quick meal on the run in the car, or how often do we mindlessly inhale dinner while zoned out in front of the TV? It happens, I know because I am right there with you!

And most of the time we don’t even think about where our food comes from. How and where was the food grown? Did it come from a farm or a lab? And hey, what about taste? Are we actually taking the time to taste our food, to really enjoy it? If you’re anything like me, the answer is most often no.

But how do we make the change to be more mindful about eating?

This month’s challenge is going to be a little different. We are going to split it up into 4 week-long challenges. Each week I’m going to ask you to try something new, something that is guaranteed to get you slowing down, thinking about your food, and becoming more mindful about what you’re putting in your mouth.

And here’s the best part:

When you slow down and think about your food, it helps you eat less! Overeating is a big problem around the holidays, we all know that, so here is a way to help you get through the holiday season without gaining weight! I’ll explain more about this as we get in to the challenge, but who doesn’t want that? Hooray!

What’s next?

As usual, I like to start these challenges with a kickoff webinar so we can really get face-to-face and talk through how it’s going to work. Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. MST (4:00 p.m. EST, 3:00 p.m. Central, and 1:00 p.m. Pacific). I’ll walk you through what we are doing for each of the weeks, and I’ll give you all the info you need to get started. (If you missed the webinar, check it out below)
